Student Success Center

To support your academic success, the student success center offers a variety of study skills and time management strategies, including weekly review sessions and group-led faculty study groups. You’ll also have opportunities to socialize with peers through Crafts and Chills activities held throughout the semester. Post-exam individual reviews allow you to reflect on missed questions and strengthen your understanding.  The student success center staff also meet with students to resolve registration holds and to connect you with mentors via the peer mentor discussion board to gain valuable insights and encouragement.  Stop by and see us in the Student Success Office (PKH 220).

Remember self-compassion from your Intro Class?

Self-compassion is often a radically new way of relating to ourselves. Research shows that the more we practice being kind and compassionate with ourselves, either using informal practices such as the Self-Compassion Break, or formal meditation practices such as Affectionate Breathing – the more we’ll increase the habit of self-compassion. Try some of these practices here.
